And a century for Shakib Al Hasan in the second innings means every member of my all-rounders table has a test match hundred to his name.

Except Graeme Swann.

To be fair to him Swann has made the table after only 16 tests, which is pretty good. But I wonder if his average is inflated by batting so far down the order? He's batted only 21 times so far and has 5 not outs.

The ICC Test Championship All-Rounder Rankings are here: http://www.reliancemobileiccrankings.com/test/all-rounder/rankings.php

Of their top ten, only four qualify for my list. Here's where the others fall short:

Mitchell Johnson (Aus): batting average is only 26.40
Dwayne Bravo (WI): bowling average is 38.14
Stuart Broad (Eng): batting average is 26.34
Chris Gayle (WI): bowling average is 42.08
Virender Sehwag (Ind): bowling average is 43.28
Shane Watson (Aus): only 27 wickets

Of these, only Shane Watson has been a true all-rounder. None of the others would merit picking for both batting and bowling alone.

Unfortunately for the injury-prone Watson, his bowling looks like it might not survive long enough for him to make the qualifying 50 wickets.
